Lazy Sundays are great. Hanging out with friends and family, relaxing, and doing absolutely nothing are some of my favorite Sunday activities. However, the week ahead has a way of looming over my head: especially when I know it's gonna be head-spinningly busy.
Here are a few things I've found that help me prepare for a busy week!
#1: Get it planned out on paper. Every meeting, hour of work, and class should be laid out neatly and clearly. Knowing what you have coming up makes it easier to be prepared mentally. Plus, you'll find out if there's anything you can get ahead o
before the week hits!
#2: Clean. Starting a week with a dirty apartment and clothes all over my room stresses me out. Put on some music and take 20 minutes to tidy up. You'll feel tons better!
#3: Chill out & go to bed early: Starting a hectic week with a well-rested mind and body is super smart. Watch some TV or read, and get to sleep!
#4: Monday morning: Pray. Ask God to help you glorify Him in every action, conversation, and hour of the week ahead. Ask Him to give you His strength to stay joyful and motivated through every day. Keeping a God-centered mind is the one thing that will never fail to bring peace and purpose directly into the madness.
The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.
That's all! Have a fantastic Sunday evening and a blessed week ahead, glorifying God and living unhindered.
